Welcome to CD-Funhouse version 9.0! (c) 1994
This disc contains 900 games for the Macintosh. The games have
been separated into System 6 and System 7 compatible categories, so
that smooth play is ensured. The games have also been separated
into many different classes. An indexed database of the games has
been created for your convenience, and is contained in the
"ShareWare Index" folder.
Register and receive information about special offers and upgrades!
Use the enclosed registration card or the file "Register.txt".
**IMPORTANT NOTICE about shareware:
Most of the programs provided are shareware and require that you
send a payment to the program author if you decide to keep and use
a program past the shareware trial period. The necessary
information about the author can be found in the provided database,
in text files in the directories, and within the program.
Finding out about the programs (beyond browsing the folders). We
have provided an indexed TextWare database that allows you to read
about the games, find out about their authors, shareware fee, rating,
location on the CD-ROM, and search for any text.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING:
Computer does not recognize the disc:
-Often this problem can be solved by cleaning the surface of the
disc. Before cleaning, examine the surface of the disc by looking at
the bottom of disc while tilting it back and forth near a light.
Problems may be a scratch in the bottom, finger prints, smudges,
dust, or anything that would effect proper reading of the disc. If
the disc is dirty, you may clean it by either using a soft towel and
gently rubbing from the center of the disc to the edge. DO NOT RUB
THE DISC IN A CIRCULAR MOTION!!!
-Make certain your CD-ROM drive is plugged in, turned on, and all of
the proper connections to your computer are made.
-Some programs require large blocks of memory. If a program does
not run due to memory problems, your can copy the program to your
hard drive and allocate it more memory by using the "get info"
option from the Finder's "File" menu.
Programs lock up when launched:
-Many of the games are created in Hypercard. A version of the
Hypercard Player is provided on the CD-ROM for you. If you have
another version of Hypercard on your hard drive, the two copies can
clash together and cause the computer to freeze. The problem can be
solved by renaming or removing the Hypercard on your hard drive.
Message "Application that created xxxx could not be found...":
-This appears when the software that created the game could not
be found. Often this can be solved by opening Hypercard Player
first, then opening the game from within it. This error occurs very
infrequently on this CD-ROM.
